Automess of Germany has been manufacturing nuclear radiation dose meters since 1978. Automess specializes in portable, battery operated radiation measuring instruments, all of which are equipped with microprocessor circuitry. The various models offer dose rates in the range of 1 nSv/h (0.1 µR/h) to 10 Sv/h (1000 R/h). Our robust, waterproof, aluminum die cast housings allow use of the instruments even in tough environmental conditions. The Teletector, the dose rate meter with extension probe, is widely used in nuclear power plants all over the world. Where applicable, Automess radiation meters are approved by PTB (Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt, German National Institute for Standardization), and/or are approved for use by fire brigades according to our national regulations. In 1995 Automess quality management system was certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001 and KTA 1401. |
