RADIATION SAFETY MONITOR FOR DRINKING WATER RESERVOIRS
MAJOR EVENT DETECTOR AND ALARM:
The MEDA-5T System provides Automatic quick alarm in the event that a terrorist dumps radioactive material into a water source or in case of a large industrial, medical or Federal Government release or accident.


SYSTEM COMPONENTS:
 
  • FS-5T: Scaler Analyzer with battery back-up and High Level Alarm.
  • PGS-3L: Scintillation detector with 2''dia. x 2'' NaI(Tl) spectroscopic grade crystal.
  • PUMP: 100% duty cycle pump.
      A. Available as submersible pump or
      B. Self-priming; nonsubmerged pump.
  • Hose and Coiled Hose which brings the sample to the detector and back to the source.
  • Optional submersible detector: Model PWS-18 is available.
