Ludlum 375-30 Waste MonitorThe Ludlum Model 375-30 area monitor consists of two shielded 3 in. x 1 in. NaI detectors connected to the modern, lightweight Ludlum Model 375 digital, microprocessor, alarming monitor. Options include strobe lights, horns, remote displays, ethernet PC connection, software and cameras. This system is typically located at the scale/entrance area. The system will continuously monitor incoming materials for radiation. The shielded NaI scintillation are perfect for rugged environments. For clean, indoor environments, consider this system with sleek, compact plastic scintillation tube panels: Model 375-P-336.

Newer Models are now available, with full color display, tissue equivalency, and interactive touchscreen GUI.

Indicated Use: Radiation monitoring
System Operation: Typically located at the scale/entrance area. The system will continuously monitor incoming materials for radiation.
Detectors: 2 ea. 3"(7.6cm) diameter X 1"(2.5cm) thick shielded NaI(Tl) scintillation detectors in NEMA 4x weather tight enclosures.
Display: 4 digit LED display with 0.8"(2 cm) high characters
Display Units: kCPM
Status:(green light) indicates the instrument is functioning properly
Low Alarm: Indicated by yellow LOW ALARM light and slow beep (1 per second) audible tone (can be set at any point from 0.0 - 9999)
High Alarm: Indicated by red HIGH ALARM light and slow beep (4 per second) audible tone (can be set at any point from 0.0 - 9999)
Low Bat: (yellow) indicates less than 2 hours of battery power remaining.
Overload: Senses detector saturation (indicated by display reading "-OL-")
Overrange:
Indicates radiation field being measured has exceeded counting range of instrument (indicated by display reading "----")
Remote(optional): Allows for connection of red strobe for remote indication of an alarm
Power: 95 - 135 VAC (178 - 240 VAC available), 50 - 60 Hz single phase (less than 100 mA), 6 volt sealed lead acid rechargable battery (built-in)
Battery Life:
Typically 48 hours in non-alarm condition; 12 hours in alarm condition
Battery Charger: Battery is continuously trickle charged when instrument is connected to line power and turned on
