Detector Sample Holder ASD-248

This solid acrylic sampler is used for counting 2" smear and air samples. It is the same size as a standard lead brick (2" x4" x 8"), making shielding simple. The special pancake tube does not need a protective screen and is approximately 40 - 60% more efficient for betas due to its design. Standard BNC connector is supplied. Typical efficiencies are C- 14: 11%, Co-57: 1%, Tc-99: 20%, Sr-90: 48%, Ba-133: 2%.
