The GSM-500-NAI survey meter is a 1"x1" sodium iodide scintillation system. This survey meter configuration is useful for moderate energy gamma survey at the microR level. Energy response ranges from 50 keV to 2 MeV. The GSM-500 series is our next level of survey meters which features auto-ranging, integration, and peak hold. Auto-ranging is especially useful in the field. The user does not need to bother switching channels when the meter goes off scale. Ranges are automatically switched by means of indicator lights. The GSM-500 survey meter includes a rugged aluminum/stainless steel body and all digital microprocessor electronics. The display is analog and features a strong, moisture proof panel. This sodium iodide survey meter is ideal for moderate energy gamma survey.
