GSM-501R Micro-Rem Survey Meter
With internal tissue-equivalent scintillation detector
The GSM-501R Micro Rem survey meter is ideal for measuring
low levels of gamma and X-ray in the 0-5000 Micro Rem range. Higher energy betas
are also detectable. The tissue-equivalent, internal plastic scintillation
detector yields a nearly flat energy response. Only a pressurized ion chamber
will provide a more accurate dose measurement and linear response than this survey meter. The GSM-501R Micro-Rem Survey Meter is recommended for nuclear
power plant, health physics, and medical applications, whenever true dose is
required.
