Radiation Alert Area Monitor by SE International

The Radiation Alert® Area Monitor is user-friendly, versatile, small, and lightweight. GM and Scintillation detector configurations are available. The user interface is an intelligent, resistive, touch-screen display, featuring a large five digit LED readout. The area monitor interfaces with either an internal or external detector; software is included in the price. User-selectable warning indicators alarm at low and high radiation alarm levels, low battery, and detector failure. NIST calibration certificates and Certificates of Conformance are available upon request. The 7128 version is now being used as a replacement for the Fluke Biomedical PrimeAlert Area Monitor.

Detector Options

The Radiation Alert® Area Montior features free software. The base unit interfaces with your PC via USB and/or Ethernet. The software displays a histogram, performs datalogging, and allows the user to save data on a database file. Other features include live reporting, mapping, and remote alarm condition monitoring. Track exposure, program custom alarms and conditions, and set email and/or text alerts. Secondary remote alarm and strobe option can be mounted up to 100 feet from the base controller unit. The area monitor can be connected to the internet. Alarms can be sent to you via email and SMS texting.

Software

The Radiation Alert Area Monitor Server Software enables users to remotely monitor and configure the Radiation Alert Area Monitor via USB or Ethernet, view the area monitors in real time, export collected data, and change the settings of the unit. There is no additional charge for the Area Monitor Server Software. Once you have downloaded the installer to the PC you would like to install the software on, double click the exe file to begin you software install. Follow the on-screen prompts until the install is complete.
